IRS Officers (Customs & Indirect Taxes)

Seven officers of Indian Revenue Service of Customs and Indirect Taxes (IRS C&IT) have been promoted to the grade of Principal Chief Commissioner / Principal Director General of Customs, CGST and Central Excise.
The officers are: Hemant A. Bhat IRS, Seema Malik, Raj Kumar Bharthwal, Sheo Narayan Singh, C P Rao, Pawan Kumar Jain and Ashok Kumar Pandey.

IPS Officers

Six IPS Officers of 1987 batch have been promoted to the position of Additional Director in Intelligence Bureau (IB). They are the first officers of the batch to be given ADG level posts in the centre . They are
-> Mr. Binay Kumar Singh IPS, Chhattisgarh cadre;
-> Pradeep Bhardwaj IPS, AGMUT cadre;
> Swagat Das IPS, Chhattisgarh cadre;
-> Akshay Mishra IPS, Rajasthan cadre;
-> Sunil Kumar Bansal IPS, Odisha cadre and
-> A.S. Rajan IPS, Bihar cadre.

Dr. N C Asthana IPS, will be new Additional Director General BSF. He is 1986 batch IPS officer of Kerala cadre.

S.C.L. Das IPS, will be new Joint Secretary of Internal Security (I) in the Ministry of Home Affairs. He is 1992 batch IPS officer of UT Cadre.

Pravesh Kumar IPS officer Tamil Nadu 2007 batch, who is presently posted as DCP, Triplicane, Chennai Police, Tamil Nadu Police, has been transferred as SP Crime Branch CID-III, Chennai, Tamil Nadu Police.

Saroj Kumar Thakur IPS officer Tamil Nadu 2010 batch, who is presently posted as SP Southern Range, Vigilance, Tamil Nadu Police, has been transferred as SP, Railways, Tamil Nadu Police.

G. Shashank Sai IPS officer Tamil Nadu 2012 batch, who is presently posted as DCP Flower Bazaar Greater Chennai, Tamil Nadu Police, has been transferred as DCP, Adyar, district Greater Chennai Police.

Rohit Nathan Rajagopal IPS officer Tamil Nadu 2013 batch, who is presently posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Adyar district, Chennai, Tamil Nadu Police, has been transferred as SP Railways, Tamil Nadu Police.

Sakthi Ganesan S IPS oficer Tamil Nadu 2013 batch, who is presently posted as ASP Arakonam Sub Division, Tamil Nadu Police, has been transferred as DCP (L&O) Tamil Nadu Police, has been transferred as SP Erode district, Tamil Nadu Police.

S. Sarvesh Raj IPS officer Tamil Nadu 2013 batch, who is presently posted as DCP Ambattur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu Police, has been transferred as SP (EOW), Tamil Nadu Police.

M. Sree Abhinav IPS officer Tamil Nadu 2014 batch, who is presently posted as ASP, Thuckaalay Sub Division., Kanniyakumari District, Tamil Nadu Police, has been transferred on promotion as DCP Traffic(East) Tamil Nadu Police.

Mrs. Nisha N.S IPS officer Tamil Nadu 2014 batch, she is presently posted as ASP Chidambaram Sub. Div, Cuddalore District, Tamil Nadu Police, has been transferred on promotion as Deputy Commissioner of Police, (L&O) Tamil Nadu Police.

E Sai Charan Tejaswi IPS officer Tamil Nadu 2014 batch, who is presently posted as ASP Cochel Sub Division, Tamil Nadu Police, has been transferred on promotion as DCP Pulianthope Greater Chennai, Tamil Nadu Police.

Ravali Priya Gandhapuneni IPS officer Tamil Nadu 2014 batch, who is presently posted as ASP Tiruvannamalai Town, Sub. Division, Tamil Nadu Police, has been transferred on promotion as DCP, Triplicae Greater, Tamil Nadu Police.

Parwaiz Ahmed IPS officer AGMUT 2004 batch, who is presently posted as DCP, Railways, Delhi Police, has been transferred as Principal PTS, Wazirabad district, Delhi Police.

Dheeraj Kumar IPS officer AGMUT 2004 batch, who is presently posted as DCP, Supreme Court, Delhi Police, has been transferred as Additional CP, Supreme Court Security, Delhi Police.

Ishwar Singh IPS officer AGMUT 2004 batch, who is presently posted as DCP Traffic, Delhi Police, has been transferred as Additional CP Traffic, Delhi Police.

Ajit Kumar Singla IPS officer AGMUT 2004 batch, who is presently posted as DCP, Crime, Delhi Police, has been transferred as Additional CP, Crime, Delhi Police.

IRS Officers (Income Tax)

Mrs Nirupama Kotru IRS, has been relieved to join central deputation as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture, New Delhi. She is an Indian Revene Service officer of Income Tax Cadre (IRS IT).

Milind R Chahure IRS, has been promoted to the grade of Joint Commissioner of Income Tax (JCIT) with effect from November 2013. She is an Indian Revene Service officer of Income Tax Cadre (IRS IT).

Anup Kumar Dubey IRS, has returned to parent cadre and been posted as Commissioner of Income Tax (CIT) in the office of Principal CCIT, Delhi office. He is an Indian Revene Service officer of Income Tax Cadre (IRS IT).
